Collar Care

At Chameleon Collars, we craft our beaded leather dog collars with precision and care. The leather we use is full grain leather, the highest quality and most durable of all the leathers available on the market. This makes our collars more water resistant than other leathers but it is important to note that leather is not waterproof.  To maintain the longevity of your collar, avoid submerging your collar in water. Should your collar get wet, simply dry with a cloth and leave it in a cool, dry area. Avoid drying your collar in direct sunlight please.

We prioritise the durability of our products, which is why we choose brass for our hardware. Brass is renowned for its inherent strength, ensuring that our collars can withstand playful tugs from your furry friend. Moreover, unlike some metals, brass boasts a natural resistance to rust, ensuring that the luster and integrity of the hardware remain uncompromised.

If your collar’s beads become muddy, wait until the mud dries then gently use a damp cloth to wipe away the dried mud and leave in a cool, dry area. Avoid drying your collar in direct sunlight please.
